RBO fast cooling sintering furnace

A Rapid Burn-Off (RBO) Sintering Furnace is a highly specialized continuous furnace designed for rapidly removing binders efficient debinding, and minimizing residue from powder compacts before the main sintering process. After a high-temperature sintered, quickly drop the part temperature, enabling excellent material properties.

🔧 Key Components and Features:

        Rapid Burn-Off (Debinding)

  • Purpose: Removes polymeric binders (e.g., wax) from sintered parts.
  • Heating by two burners, the burner’s flame sprays directly onto the workpiece to bring its adhesive into contact with air, achieving rapid dewaxing.
  • By removing binders quickly, the RBO zone allows for more controlled sintering conditions and prevents oxidation of sensitive materials.
  • The efficient binder removal allows for higher production throughputs and excellent material properties.

        Sintering Zones

  • Multiple temperature zones with independent temperature control.
  • The preheating zone is made of a heat-resistant metal muffle.
  • The sintering zone uses silicon-carbon rods to heat and seal the furnace shell.
  • Fiber blankets with high temperature resistance and good insulation performance are used as insulation materials.

        Temperature Control System

  • The zone’s temperature is controlled with the thermocouple, digital intelligent PID regulator, and thyristor. Form a closed-loop control system to achieve automatic and precise temperature control.
  • Equipped with an over-temperature alarm system. When the furnace temperature exceeds the set range, it will emit an audible and visual alarm signal and cut off the heating power supply.
  • Temperature ranges from 750°C to 1150°C, depending on the material.

        Fast Cooling Section

  • Controlled cooling using a water-jacketed type.
  • The temperature control element controls the solenoid valve switch to automatically control the cooling water temperature.
  • Equipped with a fast cooling device, the cooling rate reaches 4°C/S.

        Atmosphere Control

  • Uses protective gases (e.g., nitrogen, hydrogen, argon) to prevent oxidation.
  • A gas flow meter that adjusts the protective atmosphere based on the product process.
  • Some models include atmosphere circulation or dew point control.
